About Me
How I Got Started: After working several years in marketing, I decided that corporate America could live without me, so I quit my job in September of 2003 to stay home with my sons. During my free time, I'd surf the web and check out Ebay auctions. That's how I happened upon handmade glass lampwork beads. I was instantly addicted and obsessed! And then came the handmade polymer clay beads, which are equally as enchanting. Artisan beads are like miniature works of art, created by wonderful artists all around the world. I'm constantly amazed by their talent.
So after buying several (OK more than several) sets of beads and tons of crystals and sterling silver, I figured I'd better try to sell some of it to make some money back from my investment. I learned how to make jewelry through various sources, and began selling it on Ebay and to friends, teachers, family, and anyone else who was interested!
Current Stats: I live in St. Louis, MO with my husband, and our combined bunch of five kids. In July of 2005, I returned to corporate America (I needed the money!), so I don't have nearly as much free time as I used to. Jewelry making has taken a back seat to work, baseball games, and just plain fun. But I'm always ready to brush off the tools and design a custom piece. Just email me, and we'll make it happen.
Have a great day, and thanks for stopping by.
